Kids of grade1 and 2 visited "The Botanical Garden"

Students were really excited by this trip.They got knowledge about various types of plants also they were given information how and when these plants are grown . Children were made aware about the benefits of plants and to grow more and more trees. Little champs were full of knowledge and excitement to share it with their friends and family.

Students of class Nursery to UKG whole heartedly took part in the drive. Students planted all sorts of trees like the neem tree , the fountain tree (pichkari) , rose plant etc .The teachers explained the children about the importance of tree plantation. Not only this, the school principal Mr. Joginder sir also graced the occasion by planting a tree. In his address, he guided the children and told them how plants form an inseparable part of our lives.


Dressed in different shades of green, tiny tots looked stunning. All students started their day with exercise in the morning assembly. Class teachers taught students the identification and recognition of green fruits, vegetables, leaves and trees and also told them that green conveys the message that we should not cut the trees rather plant more and more trees. Students were also introduced to various shades of green like bottle green, parrot green, sea green and olive green.
